Styled after the classic soroban abacus, slide the beads up and down using your mouse. Click on a bead to move it to the counted position. Click it again to move it to the uncounted position. Clicking on a bead buried under a stack of beads will move the entire stack.

Basic Abacus Use:
- In the bottom section, the beads are worth 1 each.
- In the top section, the beads are worth 5 each.
- The beads are counted when they are moved to the horizontal beam that separates the two sections.
- Example: To represent the number 8, slide 1 top bead down and 3 bottom beads up.
- Example: To represent the number 14, slide 4 beads of the right-most column up and slide 1 bead up in next column to its left.
- Example: To add 2 + 1 on an abacus, slide 2 beads up and then slide 1 bead up. Now read what the abacus displays: 3, and that is your answer.
